Year 7 Transition Days

As part of our transition programme at Standish Community High School, our new Year 7 students recently took part in two exciting transition days designed to promote team building, encourage new friendships, and help them step outside of their comfort zones as they begin their five-year journey with us.

Students had the opportunity to spend the day at Go Outdoors, Formby, or The Anderton Centre, Rivington, taking part in a range of activities.

We were fortunate to enjoy two beautiful days of sunshine, with stunning surroundings providing the perfect backdrop. Our students showed great enthusiasm, excellent behaviour, and real bravery as they embraced every challenge and activity.
