A Fantastic Start to the New Academic Year

The new academic year has started with a positive and exciting atmosphere at Standish Community High School as we welcomed all students back to school.  We were delighted to see our Year 11 students return last Thursday and were especially pleased to officially welcome our new Year 7 students as they embarked on the next stage of their educational journey. The school was buzzing with excitement as students arrived looking smart, confident and ready to learn.  It was wonderful to see friends and teachers reunited after the summer break, while new friendships were already beginning to form amongst our newest students.

Year 8, 9 and 10 students were also delighted to return last Friday and quickly settled back into school life, helping to create a vibrant and purposeful environment across the school.  The rain kindly held off, allowing everyone to enjoy the day and it was particularly pleasing to see students engaged, focused and working hard in their lessons. The enthusiasm, maturity and positive attitude shown by our students have made an excellent impression and set the tone for the year ahead.

As a school community, we are excited about the opportunities, challenges and successes that this year will bring. We remain committed to developing successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens and we look forward to supporting every student in achieving their potential.

We are incredibly proud of all our students. They look exceptionally smart and have made a brilliant start to the new academic year. We wish everyone a happy, successful and rewarding year ahead.
