GCSE Presentation Evening Class of 2025

Last Thursday, we celebrated the outstanding achievements of our GCSE students at our presentation evening.  We were delighted to welcome back to Standish Community High School Lucy Farrimond, former student and now professional opera singer, as our guest of honour.  Lucy’s speech was inspirational and this was followed by an amazing solo performance. 

It was wonderful to see our students return and share their experiences of their next steps with us.  Congratulations to all the students who were nominated for the Achievement and Progress Awards and Mr Morgan’s special Head of Year nominations.  We were also pleased to welcome Alex Crook’s family back to Standish to present the Alex Crook Award to Isabelle, our former Head Prefect for her fundraising efforts for the Awareness for Alex appeal.
